Jonathan Turnbull Chief Executive Officer

Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1986 after obtaining a degree in Economics from Newcastle upon Tyne. He joined Lloyd’s of London in 1987 where he held a number of finance roles before becoming Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and Deputy Chairman of Lloyd’s of London for 3 years. In 1992 he joined Greig Fester Group Limited where he became Finance Director of their Lloyd’s broker with financial responsibility for their overseas subsidiaries. As a result of the acquisition of Greig Fester by the Benfield Group in 1997 Jonathan became Finance Director for Benfield’s Lloyd’s broker and for their international network of broking subsidiaries. In 2000 he joined R K Carvill (International) Holdings Limited, based in Bermuda, as their Group Chief Financial Officer and Group Chief Operating Officer. Jonathan joined RFIB Holdings Limited in May 2008 as Group Chief Financial Officer. In addition to this role he is Managing Director of RFIB’s Specialty division.

In October 2011 Jonathan became Chief Executive Officer.
